Care, Aids and Equipment Reports

Our Care, Aids and Equipment reports are of the highest quality and provide detailed information relating to claimant's past, present, and future care needs.

These reports address the impact of the claimant’s injury and outline detailed costs for past, present, and future care, as well as any necessary aids and equipment.

Produced by our experienced experts, the reports provide extensive details which include:

  • The impact of the claimant's condition on their daily living activities and the challenges faced by both the claimant and their family.
  • Opinions and recommendations regarding future rehabilitation.
  • Suggestions for aids and equipment that can help the claimant achieve optimal functional levels.
  • Recommendations for modifications to the claimant’s home that can enhance daily activities and reduce risks for both the claimant and caregivers.
  • Advice on specialist equipment to support various activities.
  • Suggestions for vehicle adaptations.
  • Additional costs related to DIY projects or gardening, as needed.

As a barrister, the bulk of my practice comprises claims for individuals where it is alleged that they have developed life limiting diseases arising from unlawful exposure to various industrial and environmental poisons. Most of my clients are actively dying.

It is in this context I have advised the instruction of Lisa who shows the flexibility and extent of expertise to materially help in the quantification of nursing need aspects of the claim producing comprehensive and comprehensible reports on time and in clear compliance with the requirements of CPR Part 35. In that sense she is wholly reliable.

However, her overall 'input' into the case is significantly greater than that. For the clients she is a calming and authoritative voice who has the compassion, economy and an acute sense of listening to understand their individual needs and wishes and does not simply foist upon them a pre-determined model.

Beyond that, she is a very intelligent analyst in dealing with the legal framework for recovery of loss in what is a complex area. I am always pleased to have Lisa as my expert in assisting in navigating how claims for the dying are to be structured.
